Mentoring

Options for everyone no matter what their level of experience

Monthly 1:1 or own small group

Best for those have have a case load++ and want individual or their own chosen small group

  • This mentoring is less structured, mainly discussing your own clinical case questions.

  • Available on zoom or face to face

  • One hour, once per month.

  • Flexible day/time options based off your availability.​

  • Start anytime and continue for any length of time

​​

Includes:

  • Mentoring session: Once per month for 1 hour.  

  • Membership to the PHC with its monthly live inservices, clinical support via fortnightly Q+A's and educational videos/resources.

  • Your own 24/7 access to your mentor via the PHC app to ask any clinical question any time

​

Investment:

  • $300/month (including GST)

Discounts can be given for groups of 2 or more. 

Fortnightly allocated small groups

Best for: those who have a small case load and need exposure to other cases to help apply their knowledge and to build confidence.

  • This mentoring is more structured, and will involve case studies provided and also those from the participants themselves.

  • Available on zoom only, for 1 hours, every fortnight.

  • Will run at 11am-12pm OR 12-1pm on a Friday.

  • Runs for 5 months (Feb-June and June- October)

  • Intake: Feb and June.​​

  • Groups will be created based off similar level of clinical experience (see below) and case load volume. 

  • Max of 6 per group

Includes:

  • Mentoring session: Once per fortnight for 1 hour 

  • Membership to the PHC with its monthly live inservices, clinical support via fortnightly Q+A's and educational videos/resources.

  • Your own 24/7 access to your mentor via the PHC app to ask any clinical question any time

Investment:

  • $200/month (including GST) for 5 months.

How the groups will be created: 

  • Level 1

    • Those who are just starting to see some Pelvic Health clients. ​

    • May have real time ultrasound skills, or Anoperineal visualisation skills

​​

  • Level 2 

    • Those who have been seeing some Pelvic Health Clients for 1-3 years. ​

    • Have been trained in Vaginal Examination and Anorexctal Exam either through APA Level 2 Pathway or University Postgrad or Masters. 

​

  • Level 3

    • Those who have been working with Pelvic Health Clients for >3 years.. ​

    • Geared towards more complex cases. 

​​

Casual Mentoring

For those who just want to ask a question- clinical or business related. 

  • On zoom or in person. 

  • $250/ hour (including GST)

Fresh Skills Fridays

For those who want to practice hands on skills

  • This is suited to those who have been trained in VE and DRE via either the APA pathway or University post grad/masters and want to hone their hands on skills.

  • You will get to choose 1-2 clinical skills to practice. 

  • Of course, by attending you are expected to be a volunteer to be practiced on as well (of ouches special consideration can apply)

  • Examples include: the POPQ, GH+Pb, MOS, mapping of the pelvic floor, etc.

  • In person, In Woonona, Wollongong. 

  • It will run on a Friday, once per month.

  • 2 hours long

  • Groups of max of 4.​

  • Investment: $220 including GST
