  • Pelvic floor preparation for birth

  • Pain and contraction physiology

  • Clinical reasoning for birth preparation care

  • Pain management options and strategies

 

Practical Component (optional format section)

Participants can:

  • attend a face-to-face practical workshop
    OR

  • complete pre-recorded practical demonstrations

๐Ÿ’™ Introduction to Transperineal Ultrasound (TPRTUS)

โ€‹A beginner-friendly introduction to using transperineal ultrasound in pelvic health practice.

 

This course will help you understand:

  • How TPRTUS works in clinical practice

  • Equipment setup and probe positioning

  • Supine and standing assessments

  • Key clinical applications including:

    • birth preparation and pushing technique

    • prolapse assessment

    • SUI assessment

    • pelvic floor visualisation

 

No prior ultrasound experience is required.
